What is Discord?

Discord is an American proprietary freeware instant messaging and VoIP application and digital distribution platform designed for creating communities ranging from gamers to education and businesses.

Students will be required to have Discord, an all-in-one voice and text chat for gamers that’s free, secure, and works on both your desktop and phone as a way of interacting with tournament organisers, officials and staff.

How will it be used?

Discord will be used for reporting of results, match details and updates. It will provide a private space for students to communicate with their own school and enable students to meet other schools.
